Afterwards, I was off to the office via the crammed shuttle bus, filled mostly with Polish soldiers. All I could think of was my cousin who loves polka and still dances. Once to the office, I quickly got the work done that needed done and took an extended lunch where I walked out to an area where I could get a few good photos of the snow-covered mountains since the sky was clear and sun was super-bright. Here's one of the pics I took.
I had a few more things to do in the office and considering it was Sunday, I took off at the first opportunity to get back to my room. Back in my room, I had just finished packing one final box to mail home with items I really don't want to carry home so I headed on over to mail those then picked up a footlong sub at Subway! Yep, they have one here but I'd never walked in there. It just sounded good to me today so I thought it was time to give a little American food a whirl. One 6" part down so far and pretty good! Once back, I called all 3 of my girls...Tin Man and Scarecrow and then Dorothy. Always great. Then...more packing! Yea, I'm pretty much to the point now where I can't pack anymore until it's time to leave. I haven't taken all of the kids' artwork off the wall yet, though. I look at those everyday so I think they'll have to stay until the last minute.
So all in all, a pretty good day and almost entirely to myself. The end is in sight, I've passed Mile 92 of 100, and my relief has left the United States en route to HERE. It's all good! Good times ahead...good times ahead.
Goodnight, everyone.
